OCTOBER 15 & 16 2011

     HEARTLAND ARENA:     Don't Miss It!!!   Our salute to the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War.  Our tribute is both to the some 620,000 men who lost their lives as well as to their beloved horses that carried them into battle.  It is estimated that 1.5 million horses perished.  Learn about the important role of American Saddlebred horses in the war, the last in which the Cavalry played an important role.  See how Saddlebreds transitioned from military mounts to show horses and why they are now called the "peacock" of the show ring!  Featuring horses from Freeman Farms, Yount Stables of Cave Creek, and Sarabande Stables of Tucson.  Plenty of photo opportunities with the horses!  Showtimes: 11:30, 2:30  Mark your calendar for this beautiful and moving tribute!

     Also on Saturday, October 15, Precision Canine and Delta Canine Service, Bob Solomini, Personal Protection and French Ring Sports- watch these dogs work!  

     PUMPKIN PATCH STAGE:     Our 2nd weekend of our 2nd Annual Salute to American Dance!  Featuring dancers of all ages performing for you!  Showtimes: 10, 11, 12, 1, 2  Including performances by THE ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS; THE DANCE STUDIO and TAP ATTACK!

     FREEMAN, ARIZONA:     Boots & Bustles Old Time Re-enactors engage audiences in our Old West Town, Freeman, Arizona, with family favorite skits such as "The Pumpkin Thief." 

     AT THE POND:     Just 4 Mama playing toe tapping tunes from 11-2.

     HEARTLAND ARENA:     Freeman Farms horse demonstrations.  See beautiful horses perform and learn a little about horses in history, horsemanship and disciplines of riding.
